Answers to frequently asked questions about the accommodation certificate for foreigners.
Confirmation of accommodation will be prepared within 24 hours after all documents are delivered and payment is made. In case of express processing, also on the same day. The documents are immediately ready to be submitted to the foreign police.
To issue a confirmation of accommodation, we need information about the person staying (name, date of birth, passport number, nationality). In the case of an employee card, the requirements are extended by additional documents.
The accommodation confirmation is a unilateral document of the accommodation provider confirming that it will provide accommodation to the foreigner. A tenancy agreement is a bilateral rental agreement. For the purposes of the Alien Police, both the tenancy agreement plus the owner's confirmation are often required.
The accommodation certificate is issued for a specific period corresponding to the length of the planned stay. For long-term stays and employee cards, a confirmation is usually required for at least the duration of the residence permit.
It depends on the purpose of use. For standard submissions to the Aliens Police, official verification is usually not required. For some types of visa or use abroad, an apostille may be required. We can advise you on exactly what you need.
