As a standard, it takes up to 24 hours to set up an LLC after payment and submission of all necessary documents. In some cases the process may be faster, depending on the workload of the commercial register.
To set up an LLC, you need to upload a valid ID card or passport for all partners and managing directors. This is mandatory due to AML (Anti-Money Laundering) legislation. The documents must be legible and valid. The documents can also be sent directly to the specialist after filling in the form.
Yes, both a Czech and a foreign natural or legal person can be a shareholder and managing director. In the case of foreign persons, it is necessary to provide the relevant identity documents (passport) and, if necessary, their translation.
We recommend that you always check the availability of the name on justice.cz before ordering. If you find that the name is taken, you can choose another one. If you need help with a name, do not hesitate to contact us.
The minimum share capital for an LLC is CZK 1. A higher capital (e.g. CZK 200,000) may be more credible to business partners. The amount of capital does not mean that you have to actually deposit the money - it can be made up by a contribution in kind. If you want to make the process of company formation as quick as possible and do not require a large amount of capital, we recommend that you choose a share capital of up to and including CZK 20,000 - you do not have to deposit up to this amount before registering the company in a bank account. This will significantly speed up the entire incorporation process.
